I may hate how hot it gets in the summer here, but the weather has been perfect lately. Harley and I have been spending the afternoon when I get home from work outside. We have to soak up the little time we have with spring before the hell-spawned summer is upon us.

How much is that doggy in the window?

Oh wait, that's my stinky dog Harley. So that would be free.

Day Seven

It's day seven of the #bedm challenge, and can I just point out that I haven't missed a day yet? Impressive, I know. Today's topic is pets.

I was never going to be one of those people who treats their dog like their kid, but hey, it happens. Harley is practically my child. She's pretty silly and likes to run up and down slides. Bananas are her favorite and she loves cats.

And this is Pancho Villa, my African Sulcata tortoise. He's about the size of my hand right now, but he can grow to be over 150lbs. He likes dark corners, strawberries, and climbing.

  

There you have it. My zoo.

 PS - Only two more days until Disneyland!

Four Things I Was Unaware Of

Number 1: The release of this fantastic song yesterday.

Number 2: The fact that Jimmy Eat World is coming out with an entire album to be released in June.

Number 3: They will also be having concerts all of May in multiple places in Arizona and then in California. I have to go to at least one, if not more.

Number 4: I am the worst fan ever for not knowing any of the aforementioned items. I really need to get with it.

Thank you Katie for your fantastic post and making me aware of everything I was missing including this post on the sandlot, this blog dedicated to the fashionable Ali, and these horrendous street names.

On another note, I will soon be homeless if I don't find a place that accepts Harley's fatness. My HOA won't let me keep a dog over the weight of 20 lbs. Harley needs to lose quite of few pounds and fast seeing as she's currently at 55 lbs.

Don't worry Harley, I don't think you're chunky in the least bit. Maybe just a little... fluffy.

we'll find a place to live that accepts you just the way you are and maybe we'll even be able to get a yard. now wouldn't that be lovely?

If you haven't caught on yet, I'm a little obsessed with my dog. I've had Harley since she was 5 weeks old so she's pretty much my child. I never planned on being one of "those people", but it happens. I treat my dog like a human.
