Year in Review

My year via blog post links:

That one time Christmas happened.

There's a lot more I could post (and also a lot that just didn't make it on the blog), but I think I got my point across.

2013 was awesome.

But 2014 is going to be ten times better because I'm getting me a husband.

The Inevitable Love Story: Part Two

March 9, 2013- the night of our first date arrived and I was a nervous wreck. I didn't understand how he could affect me so, but he did. Rock climbing was a success so we decided to continue the night at Oregano's. After dinner, neither of us wanting the night to end, we went to his house to watch a movie. And then he took me home, much to my disappointment.

I was completely smitten. The nickname of "my future husband" was no longer a joke.

We became inseparable, but he was slow to make any moves. On March 29th, twenty days after our first date, I decided to take matters into my own hands as I was growing rather impatient. We were at my house talking late into the night per usual and I reached over and grabbed his hand. That gave Mister Snow just enough courage to kiss me. And it was wonderful. We discussed the possibilities of the future and where our relationship could go and ended the night deciding that we would make it official and become exclusive.

Unfortunately, not all was well in paradise.

The Inevitable Love Story: Part One

Get ready for cheesy mc-cheeseville up in here.

One cold Saturday morning (December 22, 2012 to be exact), I was asked to help clean the church building with some other member's of my church ward. I was put in charge of changing trash can liners. On my last trash can, which happened to be in the men's restroom, a tall charming boy barged in to mop the floors. As a result, he scared me nearly to death. This is my first memory of Andrew.

I spent the rest of the day thinking about this funny tall boy I had just met. I told my best friend Hannah, as well as my mom, that I had met my future husband. It was all in good fun, at the time.

A few weeks went by. I still blubbered on about my future husband to Hannah and we plotted ways for me to inconspicuously strike up conversations with him. I even started going to FHE in hopes of seeing him (which also resulted in me getting a calling as an FHE committee member). After he approached me a few times to converse, I worked up the nerve to add him on Facebook. Immediately afterwards, he messaged me and told me he had been wanting to ask me out for a while and if I was interested to call him. I may have screamed and danced around for a good five minutes before settling down enough to text him. He instantly called me and asked if I would be interested in going rock climbing. He could have asked me to jump off a bridge with him and I would have been interested. The date was set and I anxiously waited for the night to come.

The start of Mushy Monday!

I come up with the worst names.

Before you all start jumping ship, let me explain what exactly Mushy Monday is...

I decided to follow the blogging trend of everyone and share with all you nosey people out there Mister Snow and I's love story. If you don't care (I'm talking to you Michelle), then you should skip out on Mushy Monday's posts because that's what they're going to be about.

The love story will take up about seven posts and then the eighth post will be our engagement story. Whether Mushy Monday will be disbanded or continued with all the wedding shenanigans coming up after the eighth post is yet to be seen.
---
To start Mushy Monday off right, let me introduce you to someone you may have seen a lot of on the blog lately. His name is Andrew Snow and he's my fiance (still getting used to that word).

Note: My fiance is the live man in this picture, not Lincoln. I promise I'm engaged to an actually person and not a statue.

Anyways, he's my favorite. That is all.

Disqus for the Win... Hopefully

Ggoogle+ comments are the worse. Maybe it's just me, but I've been having a lot of issues.

So after much struggle, I've decided to switch my comments to the Disqus platform. Unfortunately, that means I lose all comments from when I originally switched to Google+. Apologies to everyone who has taken the time to comment. But seriously, thanks for reading my pathetic little blog in the first place. You rock.

Now let's celebrate the weekend. Because weekend, you are really needed.

Sometimes You Turn Twenty-Two

Sometimes it's your birthday.

And sometimes you wake up with the worse headache and have to go to work even though it's your day to party. And sometimes you don't have time to shower so you go your whole day looking like a hobo with no make-up, dark circles under your eyes, and grease-ball hair in a top knot. And sometimes you have no food in your house for breakfast so you eat McDonalds and feel disgusting for the rest of the day. And sometimes you have heat flashes all morning because you're 22 going on 60. And sometimes you hate your life at work and just want to take a nap, but you can't because you live in reality (curse you reality). And sometimes you still have to go to class in the middle of your evening because apparently a birthday isn't a valid enough reason to get an excused absence.

Birthdays. Reminding me I'm an adult since 2009.

My Pinterest wedding is no longer nonexistent...

Now that I'm engaged, I can actually put my Pinterest wedding board to use. That's a nice change.
A very nice and exciting change. :)

I scrolled through all 62434828022 of my pins to form a little inspiration board. Yay for wedding planning!

More to come I'm sure.

Tongue Tuesday (not as dirty as it sounds)

Harley has some serious tongue issues. So obviously it had to be documented and made into it's own post.
She's a very 'special' dog.

Phoenix Suns and Crappy Pictures

I feel like all I ever blog about is going to Phoenix Suns games... oh well. Also, not even sorry about the cell phone pictures. Again. Not everyone can carry around a nice camera to everything.

Cute Babies and Friends

On Saturday, I got a text from Jenna saying that her and cute little Tycie were in town. Obviously, I had to see them. It just so happened that I had promised our friend Hannah that I would come visit her while she was working at Sweet Cakes that day. We decided to surprise Hannah with Jenna and Tycie's visit and we all got to have lunch together. Quite an enjoyable Saturday to say the least. Visits from friends are always the best.

A Public Service Annoucement

Guess what... It's November... I'm not even kidding.

It may be hard to believe, and I understand that because as far as I'm concerned, it's still September, but alas, it's true. November just snuck up on me like nobody's business. That means it's almost Thanksgiving. Which means it's almost my birthday. Which means it's almost Christmas. Which means it's almost 2014. And quite frankly my dear, time just needs to take a chill pill and slow the freak down.

Although I wish the days weren't going by so quickly, I do enjoy this time of year very much. There's not many months that the weather is agreeable with me here in the valley. Now that I can occasionally pull on a sweater and snuggle into my blankets at night, I feel quite happy. And holidays are wonderful and perfect so I'm happy those are right around the corner.

To celebrate this wonderful time of the year, I thought I'd whip up a free printable.
