Say Hi Society

I have always wanted to attend Alt Summit in Salt Lake City. Blogging isn't a full-time gig for me so I could never justify spending the money for such a serious blogging conference. Not only do you have to pay for a conference ticket, but also a flight, hotel room, and other expenses that come with traveling. It's out of my budget, especially since my blogging income is next-to-nothing.

Luckily, Janssen decided to try out a mini-conference here in Arizona. As soon as I heard about Say Hi Society (and that Janssen was the one behind it), I bought my ticket. It was a wonderful three hours with two knowledgeable speakers, delicious treats provided by Sodalicious, fun craft stations, a photo booth, and plenty of networking.

Heather Riccobono taught us how to get selected for sponsored opportunities.

Alexandra Evjen helped us up our Pinterest game.

Sodalicious was so generous to provide us delicious mixed soda drinks and the best sugar cookies I've ever had.

Meg, Jen, and I are really good at taking pictures.

Sometimes we manage to take a decent one.

If you live in Arizona and would be interested in attending one of these in the future (you should, they're a blast!), visit the Say Hi Society website. And big thanks to Red Poppy Photo for taking all the pictures!

Christmas 2015

This Christmas was one for the books. It was the on-year for the Snows so all of Andrew's siblings were here. Which also meant all the grandkids were together. Grandma's house sure was a party.

We played lots of board games, ate an endless amount of Someburros, and wrangled tiny toddlers. The day after Christmas we went to the zoo, and we ended everyone's trip with family pictures.

(If you notice that a picture looks particularly good, most likely my sister-in-law Mimi took it.)

9 Months of Taylor

Taylor has now been out of the womb as long as he was in it. That's sort of crazy to think about. This month has been a lot of fun. The main reason being that it was Christmas time (which I still need to blog about), I got to bundle him up in lots of cute warm clothes that I bought for him before he was even born (they have been sitting in his closet eagerly waiting for colder weather). He also cut two teeth this month. To that I say, FINALLY! I've been swearing up and down that he's been cutting teeth since he was 4 months old. When that first one cut through I was so relieved that I wasn't crazy.

And the last bit of news, or rather lack of news, is that Taylor is still not mobile. I think Taylor has decided that he doesn't want to crawl. Why would he do that when he has parents to lug him around wherever he needs to be. Good thing he's cute.
