Big News Up in Here

I have an announcement to make...

I am going back to school!

I was accepted to the BYU-Idaho online pathway program and classes start the end of September.

I'm both scared and excited, but I know that good things will come from this.

#azbloggermeetup: Round Tres

Friday night I was able to attend the third AZ Blogger Meet-up which was at Clothes Minded. It was a fantastic place for the festivities to be held. Clothes Minded provided us with a great night of entertainment as well as yummy treats made by Sweetables. I mean, just look at how darling all those treats are.

 Enough about the food, back to the store. Clothes Minded is owned by Kim who is just awesome. The store was her dream and she finally was able to make it happen earlier this year. She features a lot of local designers. If i didn't have any self-control, I would have walked out of there with over half the store. The clothing and accessories are fabulous.

  

Something I was really excited about was the guest speaker. Ashley from The Shine Project came and talked to us. If you don't know Ashley or anything about The Shine Project, you need to check it out. And for those of you who do know about Ashley and follow her blog, let me be the first to tell you, she's just as nice in person as she appears to be on her blog.

 She also brought some new pieces from the Threads Collection and I jumped on the chance to buy one.

It was a great night and I can't thank Clothes Minded enough. They were so accommodating and even provided us with gift bags as we were leaving! You must go. Check them out on Facebook here.

Let It Be (Not a post about the Beatles)

My fingers are itching to type, carefully hovering over the keyboard, waiting for the words to flow,

but the words don't come. What a strange concept to yearn to write yet have nothing to spill onto the page.

And then I realize, there isn't anything to say. Sometimes life is just the way it's suppose to be and there's no use trying to analyze it or explain it to others.

So I'll let the pieces fall into their perfect little spaces without trying to change or manipulate them. Sometimes you have to let life be.

PS - Tonight I'm going to a special Phoenix Suns event. Exclusive invite to a dinner with coaches, managers, and past players. Me and the boy are rather excited. (Yes, I do have a boy now if you couldn't tell from my last #typethenthink post).

PPS - Tomorrow is the 3rd Annual AZ Blogger Meetup and it's being held at Clothes Minded. I'm so ready to reunite with my fellow bloggy friends.
